Hope Church commenced in June 1993 when Paul & Janine moved to the Gold Coast with their family to start a church in what was then and still is today, the fastest growing region in South East Queensland. God clearly spoke to us about being hope in this community. Jeremiah 29:11 became our foundational verse “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Many hundreds of people have committed their lives to God through faith in Jesus Christ. We are a strong dynamic and growing community church. Our message is simple….to give people hope, faith and a vision for the future. We commenced Sunday services in a school hall and as the church grew, leased several properties while at the same time saving to finance our vision of owning our own facility. |
